April 2024, wurden in Austin, Texas (Moody Center), die begehrten CMT Music Awards verliehen. Die Show wurde wieder von der sympathischen Kelsea Ballerini moderiert und von Country Music Television (CMT) im Internet sowie von CBS Television im TV und im Stream von Paramount+ übertragen. Lainey Wilson ist Künstlerin des Jahres und Jelly Roll darf sich über die Auszeichnung Künstler des Jahres freuen. Über den Award als bester Durchstarter des Jahres darf sich Warren Zeiders freuen. Ashley Cooke wurde mit dem Award als beste Durchstarterin ausgezeichnet. Bei den CMT Music Awards werden jährlich die besten Videos über ein Fan-Voting ermittelt!
